Boys Junior Varsity Baseball, Boys Varsity Baseball · Franklinton’s Tageant records 450th career win

11193313_975928835752099_2440281862851570551_nFranklinton coach Jeff Tageant won his 450th career game Thursday, as the Demons were victorious over Holden, 15-0, in five innings to begin the Ponchatoula Tournament.

Tageant credited his wife, his family, his assistant coaches, the players who have come through and the Franklinton administrators on the accomplishment.

“I’m proud of it. A lot of people have been involved in the 450 wins dating back to 1989. A lot of great kids have come through,” Tageant said. “I haven’t done anything. I haven’t hit one pitch or thrown one. I think it’s a great thing for our program that we’ve averaged 17 wins a season. It just shows consistency.”
